Yahoo has launched video sharing on its ‘Flickr‘ website, which already offered photo sharing.
You are now able to upload videos recorded by any digital device like camcorders, mobile phones or digital cameras up to 90 seconds in length. Flickr accepts files in any format including MP4. Also, you can send the video file to Flickr as an email attachment.
Another tool Flickr members can utilize is My Map, which allows members to use geotagging to show where on a world map their videos and pictures were taken.
Video on Flickr, which will be available in eight languages. Users who upload video are also given the option of making their videos private, visible to only friends and family or to make them public.
